An RIA that finally sounds like one voice

Demonstration case: the client profile, timeline and figures are illustrative, not verified client results.

Twelve advisors, twelve styles of client email. A monthly commentary program gave the firm a single, compliant voice.

The problem

Advisors had no consistent content. Each one wrote their own quarterly notes, some quoted returns without disclosures, and the chief compliance officer spent most of the first week of each quarter rewriting them.

What we did

We set up a monthly market commentary and a client newsletter under one editorial voice. A former markets reporter writes the commentary; a CFP-credentialed writer handles planning topics. Drafts reach compliance on day 20 of each month with a sourcing memo, and approved issues are archived with the approval record.

  1. Weeks 1–2Style sheet, disclosure library and approval workflow agreed with the CCO
  2. Month 1First commentary issue published after two review rounds
  3. Month 3Advisor-personalized intros added, same approved body copy
  4. Month 6Review cycle down to one round; archive export automated
