Thought leadership & ghostwritingAn argument worth a byline.
We help executives say one clear thing, well, in the publications their buyers read.
Trade editors reject most contributed pieces for the same reasons: no argument, no evidence, and a thinly veiled pitch. We start with a 45-minute interview to find the one position your executive holds that peers would debate.
From there we build the case with data, examples from the executive’s own work, and counterarguments stated fairly. The draft is written in the executive’s voice, using their phrasing from the recorded interview.
Our placement editor pitches to trade and business outlets with a short, specific note. We never pay for placement, and we tell you when a publication asks for payment so you can decide with full information.
For regulated executives, the draft goes to compliance before it goes to an outside editor. That order matters: a published op-ed is a public communication, and changes after acceptance are hard to negotiate.
Ghostwriting is common and legitimate when it is honest. Articles written for executives are drafted with our editors. The executive approves every word and is accountable for the content. We recommend a short disclosure where the outlet allows it.
Programs usually run for six months with two bylines a month. After the first quarter we review which arguments earned replies, invitations and meetings, and we adjust.
Your executive should be able to defend every sentence at a conference Q&A without notes.
